The opening sequence starts with a medium shot where it’s set up in an emergency room that includes many nurses and doctors in one place. It seems like they’re undergoing a surgery for someone which causes the atmosphere to be full of tension and nervousness. It can be strengthened by the fact that lots of doctors and nurses are focusing on this surgery which indicates its severity and However, even though they’re in surgery and the surrounding is dark, there is still light in the middle of the room which may connote a sense of hope and faith.

After a camera pan, the second frame answers our curiosity when it reveals who the doctor is doing surgery for. The frame close up to the presence of a baby that looks like just recently being borned as the baby has no clothes or anything covered on. However, the strange thing is the size of the baby because it’s extremely small which is kind of unusual for an ordinary baby. This may imply that the baby is weak and it may have some rare diseases compared to peers. Besides that, since in the first day of life, the baby already needed others’ help to survive, this alludes that on the rest of its life, it may require the assistance and support from the surrounding people which is kind of dependent.

Next, a long shot where it captured the moment when a woman is lying on a hospital bed. Her lying position gives a feeling of nervousness and discomfort as the hands are intertwined, eyes are opening with straight legs. This implies that the baby being treated by doctors in the first two scenes may be her child as I think that by being in the hospital, she may have just gave birth and the child’s health is not too good.

The next shot starts in the hospital corridor where a nurse is pushing a woman in a wheelchair. We can see that the two sides of the corridor are perfectly parallel to each other which indicates that there is no connection or linkage that can bring a sense of happiness and prosperity. This can be strengthened when there is a feeling of loneliness in this frame, the woman is going her own way where no one can be beside her. This alludes that later on in the movie, the way the woman behaves or act maybe different compared to ordinary women.

This medium shot consisted of several images within one frame. Firstly, the doctors and nurses just showed the woman something very shocking and surprising which expressed in her facial expression. Through her emotions, we can partly guess that it may be related to the baby shown in the first few frames as she may be the baby’s mother. The reason why she looks so shocked is because of how small the baby is. Furthermore, the lighting within that room gives a sense of sadness and mourning as it’s full of darkness and the worrying of surrounding people. By the fact that the woman is sitting on a wheelchair, her health is maybe in the stage of healing after giving birth.

Following up is a medium shot that shows the baby is lying in a glass cage with breathing equipment to help her/he to easily breath. Beside it is the suffer and pain of the woman being a mother seeing her child is enduring lots of pain by itself. The woman’s facial expression can imply that she’s heartbroken and miserable when seeing her child’s situation. However, by the unusual size of the baby, we can guess that this child may be very stand out and different compared to other peers.

This frame is a creative and hidden way to hint the audience about the plot and the film’s title. By showing after a miserable scene, this list of illnesses implied that these are the sickness that the child will have for the rest of its life. The frame will successfully raise a sense of pity and sympathy of the audience for this unlucky child because the illness she/he has is rare and unusual for a child to have. Furthermore, it also forecasts that the child’s life will be full of obstacles and challenges due to a weak health as the child can’t live as a normal person.

This is an introductory title frame where the background is black and exists just “run.” However, unlike other films, the director placed the title “run” very small and at the corner of the screen whereas it was supposed to be big and central. The small size of the title indicates the little aspiration appeared within a person as to escape or exit from their current situation. In this film, it may be about a child who wants to be released from her suffering life full of illness and medicines. Furthermore, the full stop sign may imply that if you can run from the current circumstance, everything will come to an end and a new life is welcoming you.

The final frame tells us that the film has started with the image of a tissue box. Through the colour of the box, the audience may realise the baby is a girl by the use of purple colour. Besides that, the word printed on the box "feel better" also acts as a way to ease the mental health of the girl. However, the colour scheme in this frame is much lighter compared to those previous frames with the use of mixing warm and cold colour like red, yellow, purple, green... This makes the audience think that the film will portray the daily life of this unique girl and how she manages with those illness
