Code and Conventions

The film will be about the past experiences that caused the on-going trauma for the characters. It would be based on the story of the characters themselves rather than having some unstable emotional state initially.

Through the film, the audience may get the semiotics that we want to convey. The film will also be filmed in ordinary life time but the overall color tone will be quite dark to symbolize a feeling of sadness and intensity.

Representation

The characters will look kind of depressing, stressful and desperate about them where their mental health is unstable. The way they react and behave to normal people would be more aggressive since their feeling are more sensitive and can be easily heartbroken

The characters will be act by ordinary actors and actresses but their expression on film to fully portray the characters is very important

Audience

Our target audience will be at the age of below 18 that is highly interested in watching films each week. Their social grades are quite high as lots of them are willing to pay a high price for a movie ticket. Since their domain uses are on online platforms such as Netflix, Youtube,... we will release our film on these kinds of apps to reach the target audience. In specific, compared to other sub genres of thriller, the audience is most interested in psychological thriller so the view afterward may be quite high. Besides that, the gratification of people can be meet by producing a distinct film’s plot and color

Institutions

Since we’re still students, our budget will be low as most of the equipment is being borrowed from the school. Besides, there may not be box office success compared to those famous movies as Sightless, Split…

Due to the shortage of financial resources, we will have a limited choice of people who can take the role of the characters in the film which may be a challenge to fully express the complex network in the character’s psychology

There will be no professional editing or filming department therefore everything will be produced by our paired team

The background where we can set up is alo limited since there’s not much chance to film outside the school without the teacher’s permission
