​The first question helps to classify our group’s target audience for the film production. Recording to the survey’s results from 35 people, the majority of our audience (91.4%)  will be at the age of below 18 years old which can be determined as young teenagers.

The second question identifies the gender that participated in our survey the most, which is female with 21 out of 35 people. The number of male participants is nearly half of female participants, showing that girls in particular are interested in film aspects. This means that most of our viewers will be girls.

In this question, we can see how frequent people watch films and television. Nearly half of the number watch one or twice a week and there are still 6 people who watch it everyday which shows that the teenager will actively view our final products since they’re interested in watching entertaining shows.

Recording to the question, the three most common genres are romance, action and sci-fic. This means the audience that will watch our psychological thriller’s opening sequence is niche as there are just 40% of the contributors to preferred thriller movies. After producing the film, we may have to do some marketing to get a higher number of viewers.

Since the majority of the audience are young teenagers, they tend to watch films online and at the cinema rather than other platforms such as theater or television. This means that to meet the target audience, we should promote and distribute on streaming platforms such as Netflix, Youtube…

All of the films that I put in the question are classified as psychological thriller genres. My purpose through this question is to find out about how popular psychological thriller movies are in the filming industry that can then help to estimate the level of reactions of viewers. Orphan and Saw are the two most famous films to the audience as nearly 50% people know about it. However the popularity of these movies still needs to be improved since the top one couldn’t even reach 50%.

This next question helps us to identify ways to impress and satisfy the audience's wants in film in order to receive the best feedback after the release of the opening sequence. By asking what makes them watch a movie, we can know where to focus on to maximize the impression and effect having on the audience. The two most common reasons are the main plot of the film and the film’s genre because these two will crucially develop throughout a film.

Even though in the film industry, psychological thriller isn’t the one to go for many audiences but in its subgenre, the crime and psychological one hold the domain percent with 57,1% and 54,3%, respectively. This shows that people like the feeling of suspense and uncertainty where everything needs to be solved and handled.

Therefore, we planned that before releasing the film, we should do some marketing first in order for people to have even a brief understanding of it.

This final question determines socio-economic status. 33 out of 35 people are willing to pay a ticket with the price from 60,000VND to more than 240,000VND but half of these people are more preferred for the price to range from 60,000 to 120,000 VND. This helps us to identify the social grades of our target audience.
