Editing Process
During the production process, I used Adobe After Effects to create the whole thing since the app is specialized in producing logos as well as film opening that is related to the use of texts. While using Adobe After Effects, I think it was quite complicated as you have lots of tools that can be used.
This is the ident of our production company - ‘Black Shade’. I’m the one who edits this whole ident and it took me around 3 to 4 hours to finish the product.I divided it into 2 sections of production: the first hour was when I was in my Media Studies class and I was trying to get used to the app before the steps get harder. The second section was 1 week apart since I was quite busy with other subject’s work and when we had a holiday, I decided to use time effectively by finishing the remaining parts in an evening.
