CONTACT SHEET

This is the contact sheet of one of the best photos from our photoshoot. We put it in as a contact sheet to analyze it further based on the strengths and weaknesses of each photo. The blue pen shows the main reasons why we chose that photo and in contrast, the red pen used to point out its weaknesses. It is extremely challenging for us as the producers to select the most appealing one out of hundreds of photos.

Editing Process
During the editing process, Ngoc Chau used Adobe Photoshop to edit the digipak. She used Adobe Photoshop to adjust the colour grading of the photos, combine those images to be a digipak, add texts and crop the image's background. Likewise me, Ngoc Chau also found it struggling at the start as she is not used to Adobe Photoshop. However, after several attempt and experiments, Chau now can function the software smoothly and know what to do during the adjustment stage

Import & Trimming
Layering & Effect
Effect

The editing process took Chau lots of time as she had to experiment with a wide range of tools on Adobe Photoshop to find the one she needed. Editing digipak is quite complicated as she had to add the colour grading to the photos to ensure that they follow a uniform pattern. It is also challenging as she has to be creative in the way she arranged those photos as well as the position of texts. It took her around 2 to 3 hours per day to edit this digipak.

DRAFTING
DRAFTING
DRAFTING
Digipak Draft 1

The first draft can be seen as the most challenging one for us as we have not used Adobe Photoshop much before. We don’t know how to crop the image perfectly to match each other as well as have not fully identify the main colour scheme of the digipak
Digipak Draft 2
This is the second draft of our digipak where we had decided our colour scheme is purple. In the draft, our digipak looks more uniform as it follows the colour scheme. We changed the image and its background slightly to make it more appealing to the audience

Digipak Draft 3

In this draft, we added the strips, changed the word “Moonlight” to “Reneé” in the heart. We also find out the way to remove the templates of the digipak which makes the digipak more professional without all those grids.
Digipak Draft 4
This is the fourth draft of our digipak where we changed one of the photos into the burning flowers as we feel that having too many character’s images may be too overwhelming for a digipak. We try to balance the overall design by adding the burning flower into the layout.

Audience Feedback

Draft that I show to the audience
Year 12 Test-Screening Feedback
Some Audience Test-Screening Feedback
These are some feedbacks I have collected from four girls that are in the age range of our target audience from 16 to 24 years old. All of them find our products appealing and eye-catching to them as audience. After getting these feedback, we can narrow down and point out our weaknesses and what needs to be improved to make the products even better. Even though there are still areas that we need to work on, we are pleased that our products match the style and perspective of the target audience - Vietnamese young females.
